Meet the team

Andrew has extensive knowledge of financial services gained from working in the industry for over 30 years; 16 of those spent at an executive level within the retirement market. Andrew joined the group as Executive Chairman in January 2017 following a number of years as Managing Director of Retirement at Partnership and Just Retirement.

Alistair joined MPE in July 2023. He brings with him a wealth of experience having spent the last five years working for a fast growing, innovative, and acquisitive business, Frasers Group Plc, as their Director of Finance. Before that, he was a senior manager at RSM in the assurance practice.

Alistair is ACCA qualified and has overall responsibility for the finance function.

Joining MPE in 2016, Bernie has over 30 years of experience in an administrative capacity in the financial and insurance sector. Working at Partnership for over 7 years, Bernie helped to assist the executive team whilst also working alongside Andrew Megson. This working relationship subsequently led to her joining Andrew again at MPE as HR Manager in 2016.
Bernie is responsible for all day-to-day HR operations.

Lily joined My Pension Expert in September 2022, having gained extensive knowledge of the financial services industry throughout her career as a communications professional. She is responsible for the creation and implementation of My Pension Expert’s communications strategy, maintaining stakeholder relationships and strengthening the business’ position as a leading consumer champion within the retirement sector.

Daniel joined the group in April 2018 after four years leading development at a large multi-academy trust. He is responsible for driving innovation and efficiencies throughout the business making use of technology and digital services to enhance experience and outcomes for clients. Daniel has extensive experience developing and implementing IT systems in large organisations.

Joining the business with over ten years of sales experience and a wealth of management expertise, Kyle initially started his My Pension Expert journey as a Retirement Technician. Following successful periods as Sales Team Leader and Head of Sales, he was promoted to Director of Sales in 2024. Kyle is responsible for developing and executing the company sales strategy, in addition to driving and motivating the sales structure.

Katie first joined My Pension Expert in 2016 as a Retirement Technician. In 2020, Katie completed her DipFA qualification and joined our team of Independent Financial Advisers. After gaining extensive knowledge of financial services and the pensions industry, Katie was promoted to Director of Client Outcomes in 2024, where she is now responsible for leading in all areas of advice and overseeing the operation of client outcomes.

Prior to joining MPE in 2024, Steven worked across various establishments in the Financial Services and Telecomms sectors. With a wide variety of expertise in consumer revenue growth and digital transformation, Steven’s key responsibilities as Chief Commercial Officer include developing digital routes to market and partner relationships and building appropriate new capabilities to grow the business.
