Scientists have found planting trees to be the biggest and cheapest way to tackle the climate crisis; the tree stores pollutants such as carbon and releases oxygen into the atmosphere.
OblongTrees is a not-for-profit organisation supporting businesses in offsetting their carbon footprint by planting trees here in the UK and around the world. All money received goes into the planting of trees, with staff volunteering their time for free.
At My Pension Expert, we’re supporting the OblongTrees initiative with monthly contributions on behalf of each employee. We also make a one-off donation on behalf of each client that invests in a sustainable portfolio, which pays for 20 trees to be planted.
Below is a table displaying the number of trees that have been planted on behalf of our colleagues and clients, their development stage, and their location.
